3-Phase Plan

Below is an update about our 3-Phase Plan for reopening the church.  All updates and changes to this strategy will be communicated on the website here.  Please come back and check this page for updates.  We will email updates to those with valid emails in our database.  If you would like to receive email updates, please email, and ask to have your email address added to our database.

(Updated 7.14.20)

The new restrictions announced on July 13th have modified our original plans.  While we continue to monitor the situation closely, please join us for a Wednesday night Bible Study via ZOOM on July 29th at 6:00pm!

When it is deemed safe for us to gather together in person, we will transition to meeting in the sanctuary for this Bible Study and will welcome those back who are comfortable joining us!  We are very aware of all of the needs and safety requirements as we welcome you back to the house. Our facilities will be sanitized and we will practice social distancing, but we will always draw near to God. Our reopening team will be involved with serving the congregation safely and welcoming people back into the building.  Psalms tells us, "Worship God in the sanctuary of the saints." We believe we will have plenty of room to practice social distancing on a Wednesday night for bible study. It will be safe. We are going to worship, we are going to pray, we are going to teach! We are going to experience the presence of God like never before.

We will require reservations for this live gathering (Date TBD), which can be made via our online reservation system ( This reservation link will also be available via social media and will emailed out to those with a valid email in our database.

In Phase 2, we will be back in the sanctuary for Sunday services.  However, in phase two no children or youth services will be provided. All social distancing and sanitization protocols will remain in place and our teams will be ready to serve the congregation on Sunday mornings.  The bible tells us, "Do not forsake the assembly of yourselves together." So we will practice social distancing, but we are going to worship, we are going to pray, we are going to preach! We are going to experience the presence of God like never before. Reservations will also be required for these services, and a link will be made available here as soon as a launch date is determined.  So stay tuned for news when phase two will begin!

Then Phase 3, we are full speed ahead. We will be having all of our campus-wide services and events that outreach to the valley including:

  • Weekly congregational gatherings

  • Gatherings for our children and youth

  • Reaching out to our communities

  • Reaching for lost people

In this phase we will strive to be back fully engaged in our communities and making a difference in our world like God has called us to.  Stay tuned for news when phase three will begin!

We hope you will stay connected and stay up to date on what is happening at Champion Life Church as we go through this 3 Phase Plan. We are ready to go and we cannot wait to be together soon. Also, please keep our church families, communities, and nation in your prayers as things develop and change.  We know God is the Way Maker, and He can work a miracle out of any situation!  Let us keep walking with God, keep our faith strong, and let God do what He wants to do in our lives!

We will be implementing a 3-Phase Strategy for reopening (Please see the section on our 3-Phase Plan for details).  In this strategy, our Reopening Team will help facilitate all safety procedures when we welcome people back into our building for live gatherings.

These safety protocols will include the following:

  • Social distancing of at least 6 ft. at all times

  • Masks must be worn inside the building at all times

  • Temperatures will be taken before entering the building

  • Seating will be spread out 6 ft. apart (except those families in the same household)

  • Reserved seating will be required for Sunday morning services (PHASE 2)

  • Sanitization of facilities before and after each service

Below are the best practices we have for people attending our services. Our teams are here to assist in any way possible with these best practices.

  • During PHASE 2 – RSVP at least 48 hours in advance to ensure seating.

  • Until it is deemed safe (PHASE 3) we will not be offering Children’s services on Sunday mornings. All Children’s rooms will remain closed and locked at all times.

  • Please discuss all social distancing protocols with your children and consider whether these expectations are reasonable for your children before you attend the service.

  • Confirm no attendee is known to have had any contact with known COVID-19 confirmed cases in the past 21 days.

  • Please take your temperature before leaving home and do not attend if you feel ill or have had a fever or any symptoms of any illness in the past 14 days.

  • We recommend you do not attend if you are at higher risk for severe illness, but rather enjoy the service at home.

  • Wear fresh clothes to the service and wash your clothes immediately after the service.

  • Follow all CDC and state guidelines on social distancing and good hygiene (, i.e., maintaining 6 feet between you and other persons, no touching, hand shaking or hugging.

  • Restroom use will be limited to one person at a time.

  • Please do not socialize or gather in groups before or after the service.

  • Please contact us if you develop flu like symptoms after one of our services.

Wednesday night Bible Studies & Sunday Services will seat people based on reservations through our online form, here:

For Phase 1 we will be reserving until the room is at capacity while maintaining the 6 foot distance rule (Capacity will be around 60-80 people depending on how many large parties get seated together).

For Phase 2 we will be reserving & filling one service at a time, beginning with the 9:30am service. Once the 9:30am service is full, we will begin taking reservations for the 11:00am service. (The same capacity is applied for Sundays as Wednesdays.)

Please do your best to RSVP at least 48 hours ahead of time so we can prepare the seating.  We will seat anyone from the same household together, so when you reserve, please take into account how many will be in attendance in your party.

It is highly recommended if you are in any of the below categories that you please enjoy the service from home:

  • You are running a fever and/or are feeling ill or have had any symptoms of illness in the past 14 days.

  • You are high risk (over the age of 65 and/or have underlying health conditions).

  • You have come into contact with someone COVID-19 POSITIVE in the last 21 days.

  • You have been tested for COVID-19 and are still awaiting test results.
